This home is within 10 minutes of Lake Gilmer and within 40-45 minutes of Lake Of the Pines and Lake Fork. Fishing boats can be parked by our barn and batteries can be charged. We are also within 15 minutes of Rowdy Creek Winery in Gilmer and within 35 minutes of Los Pinos Winery in Pittsburg and only 25 minutes from the adorable town of Winnsboro. Autumn Trails Events take place the whole month of October in Winnsboro. Gilmer Yamboree happens the third week of October in Gilmer. We are centrally located with lots of things to do in and around Gilmer. This lovely home is so comforting from the minute you walk in the door--it feels like a deep breath of fresh air. We have a fence around the perimeter and a gated entry to this home. It is near our MAIN house but there are woods between the two so it is COMPLETELY private. Guests enter at the MAIN gate by main home and then drive through the woods to the guest house. A few snacks and fridge items are included as well as coffee and tea options. No smoking and no vaping anywhere on the property. Guests must have no negative reviews and at least 3 positive reviews on AirBandB to get approved booking. Must be 25 years of age or older. One day notice is required. Same day bookings are not allowed. Must have complete profile on AirBandB. Guest access There are some walking trails that we have had cleared out on the 36 acres and a creek trail. Other things to note This is on 36 acres and guests who want to explore the acreage need to be aware that there is wildlife on the property. Appropriate footwear is also needed to walk the acreage.
