Location Outside high season San Lorenzo is a relatively quiet resort fringed by a wonderful stretch of soft sand and crystal clear waters with areas of serviced lidos and free beach. In high season, the beach fills up midday and if you would prefer to escape the business at that time, then the nearby Vendicari nature reserve has a further choice of coves and sandy stretches. There is a choice of restaurants and some shops in San Lorenzo itself and a short drive away the better known and picturesque Marzamemi has many more eating places. It's only a short drive away from the most beautiful towns of south-eastern Sicily, such as Noto, Syracuse and the baroque towns of the Val di Noto.
