This Bainbridge Island escape is a private 1 bedroom apartment nestled in the woods on a 1.5 acre sunny lot. The beach & Point White Dock are a 5 minute walk down the driveway, charming Lynwood Center is a quick 2 miles away and Winslow & Ferry terminal are only 5 miles away. Enjoy the private deck with hot tub while you watch a beautiful sunset over the Olympic Mountains. Guests need a car for this listing. Ride-shares are few and far between on the island and there isn’t a cab company. The space This apartment is a cozy one bedroom with a queen bed; full bathroom with spa shower, kitchenette with island, living room and private deck with outside dining table and chairs (during nice weather months) and hot tub. There’s a hammock in the yard to laze in during the sunny months and a corn hole set to use in the summer. Guests may use the hot tub anytime during their stay, after quiet hours as well if quiet. There is a Nespresso machine and a variety of pods, sugar and half & half along with a selection of teas for your enjoyment. We clean thoroughly before each guest’s arrival with eco friendly, non toxic, natural cleaning products. Additionally rest assured the duvet cover and blanket (seasonal) are washed in addition to the linens between each guest. Guest access There is a private entrance to the apartment which is located on the outside of the first floor of the home complete with your own unique to you door code. Other things to note There is a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog named Finnegan that lives in the family home above. He may bark when you arrive, as he takes his self appointed job of "head of security" quite seriously ; ) but he is very friendly. If you don't like dogs and would like us to keep him on leash during your stay, please let us know. We are happy to accommodate. The apartment is pet free, as we have an extended family member with allergies that stays in the apartment when visiting us.
