The cottage is set on a beautiful private farm in the center of historic Aldie, Va. and 5 minutes to historic Middleburg. The cottage is surrounded by 11.11 privately fenced acres and is in a very cute setting with a shower and bathroom downstairs along with a kitchen and bedroom upstairs with a queen bed. The apartment accommodates 2 easily with table and chairs inside and on the porch for your comfort. Great opportunity to experience and relax on a small farm in hunt country. The space The apartment is 2 floors above a 2 car garage with a shower and bath downstairs. New shower installed December 2021. Bedroom and kitchen upstairs ( Kitchen fully stocked). No dishwasher or garbage disposal. The stairs going up to the bedroom are very, very steep. Washer and dryer on first floor. The apartment is not handicap accessible. AC and heating units are utilized. FIOS connection and ROKU for Streaming. Gardens abound and if flowers are in season guest are welcome to pick! Relax on the porch with a bottle of wine and look for turkeys; deer and other wildlife. Little River runs through the property. Several restaurants are located across the street in downtown Aldie. Four minutes to historic Middleburg, VA; hunt and horse country. Great place to stay if you are showing or hunting in the area especially with the Upperville Horse Show. No smoking. Pets are allowed and may be accommodated on a case by case basis. Dog bowl, towel and dog bags are included. During horse showing/hunt season, boarding may be available for 2 horses. Guest access On-site parking. Private entrance faces the front field. Parking is available for a horse trailer if booked during hunt or show season. Unfortunately my horses are very old and tend to choke on carrots and apples. So please don’t feed. Other things to note FIOS and Roku for streaming are connected. No garbage disposal or dishwasher - country living. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes for enjoying your visit with basic supplies such as oil, vinegar and a variety of spices. Tea and coffee are provided. There is a picnic basket downstairs that guests are welcome to use for visits to wineries or to other events like a real picnic. Please wash dishes and utensils after use. While I allow pets; I will need to know before you book, the type of pet (only cats or pups); weight and whether your pets have current vaccines and flea and tick prevention medication then I will approve or not approve your pet. Small animals under 30 lbs are best for the property and size of the cottage. Owners are to clean up and dispose of pet waste.
