"The Stockard Stay Awhile" is located in the peaceful countryside 6 miles west of Athens, Texas off of Hwy 175. Recently remodeled, this charming apartment can sleep 4 comfortably. You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.- The space Our space provides room for four people: queen bed (2) and twin bed (1) with a twin trundle (1) stowed below. The bar-height dining table seats four and can be expanded to 8 feet in length to accommodate scrap booking and game nights! Feel free to use our outdoor patio table while you enjoy the fresh country air and watch the cows and horses walking along the property line. Guest access Guests may park under the carport on the right side. Other things to note We are located 4 miles west of the National RV Training Center on Hwy 175.
