Guest Access: The house is situated on 3.6 acres but we back up to state protected land so feel free to roam the backwoods for as long as your legs can sustain you. There are beautiful hiking trails behind the house and even a trail that leads to Mombasha Lake. We have a relatively long, dirt driveway so in winter months we strongly advise using a car with four-wheel drive. The entire home and grounds are available for your enjoyment! Disclaimer: The Hudson Valley has a lot of wildlife in the area, including bugs and ticks. Our priority is for you to have a safe stay. DO NOT feed the deers or interact with the wildlife, please be on the look-out for black bears looking for food. If you are going for a hike in the surrounding areas, please walk with bear spray. All the trash must be put in the trash can and covered. Wildlife is attracted to exposed garbage. Thank you. No Winter Maintenance.
