It is the perfect spot for exploring unspoiled Downeast Maine, “The County” and Canada Guest access You may access the entire property with the exception of the basement. Other things to note The farmhouse sits 5-15’ above the ST Croix and there is NO fencing Do not walk along the edge as there is shrubbery and you may trip and fall The St Croix is tidal with 25’ tides There is a lot of nature surrounding the house, and if doors are left open, 🐿️ will get in, and possibly mice Bring water shoes or rain boots as parts of the beach are rocky and others muddy Best time for 2024 leaf peeping in this area is Oct 14-20, but double check as it may change Don’t forget your passport if you plan on driving to Canada ** The Canadian cell tower is strong and your phone may pick-up Canada’s signal-they are one hour ahead of us, so always double check the time with a clock/watch. If you get charge for international calls on your mobile plan, let them know that you are in Maine and not Canada**
