This loft apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floors of a Victorian mansion. It boasts a dozen skylights and cathedral ceilings, making you feel like you're up in the trees. A jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, and large work tables make this an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway or artist's retreat. Located a couple of blocks from downtown Greenfield. Easy walk to great restaurants, cinema, shops, train station, farmers' market and co-op. 2nd bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath available for fee. The space This large, open space consists of a loft bedroom (up the spiral staircase, with queen-size bed) and combined kitchen-living-dining-work area. The bathroom is located off of the kitchen. The living room window looks out over the mountains and provides an excellent view of the sunset. The house was originally built in 1890, but this apartment was renovated in 1990. The optional second bedroom with ensuite full second bathroom contains a king-size bed and is available for an additional $75/night. Guest access You'll have the whole apartment to yourself. Our family lives in the house which is attached to, but very separate from the apartment. You are welcome to explore the grounds which includes our small backyard farm (we keep sheep and ducks), gardens, wooded areas, and trails to connect to nearby Highland Park. Other things to note Pets are never allowed. Trained service dogs are always allowed. We will consider "emotional support service dogs" when permission is asked in advance; an additional cleaning fee will apply. Please note that it is not a dog-friendly apartment. We welcome guests with babies and children, but want to make sure you've looked at the photos carefully and noted the many exterior stairs, indoor spiral staircase, and lack of baby-gates/outlet covers/any child-proofing efforts. If you think your little one will be fine in the space, we're glad to have them!
