The space With the beach right outside our door and Cape Charles' commercial district an easy stroll away, Open Road is the ideal base for an Eastern Shore getaway. Help yourself to our selection of beach gear and simply cross the street to set up for a day spent on our idyllic town beach, where the waters are shallow and calm — perfect for little kids. When you've had your fill of sun, rinse off in our new outdoor shower before walking to a local restaurant for a bite to eat, and grab an ice cream cone from Brown Dog on your way home or an after dinner drink at one of our amazing restaurants / bars. Settle in for the evening with games around the dining room table, movies on the couch, or nightcaps and sunsets from the backyard. The cozy bonus room is relaxing and welcoming, which has a queen sleeper sofa. About the sleeping arrangements: There are two bedrooms with king beds, one of which has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a bunkroom with a twin-over-twin bunkbed as well as a full-over-full bunkbed. There is a sleeper sofa in the bonus room located beside the living room downstairs. There is a second full bathroom with a bathtub upstairs and a half bath downstairs. Guest access Cape Charles is extremely walkable, and you can stroll anywhere in town within just a few minutes. Street parking is ample and free and we do have one space located beside the house.
