RV/Camper Farm Stay
Come stay on our working farm! The campsite is a glamping experience located at Two Herons Farm. Our camper is a 2015 updated remake of the classic 1961 Shasta. It has two convertible beds, one queen and one twin (suited for children). This is a unique camper, equipped with a small bathroom with shower (hot water) and a full kitchenette with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. A grill and campfire area make this the perfect camping spot for everyone. The space Relax and enjoy our beautiful camper situated on 12 acres. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour. The camper is located at Two Herons Farm. A small family farm where we raise animals and grow food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance. As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. The camper is to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures. Guest access Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We ask that guests do not enter the barn or pasture without one of the owners of the farm. Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. Other things to note While tucked away, the location is also very convenient. We are close to Rt 66 & Rt 16. Less than 10 min from Middletown or Glastonbury. A 10-minute drive to Wesleyan University. There’s a grocery store just 3 min away. Excellent local restaurants in both Portland and Middletown. Dunkin’ and Dairy Queen just down the road. Minutes from Brownstone Adventure water park.
