Guest access Entire Cabin and 6 acres (261360 Square Feet) to roam Other things to note Holly, Michigan has such a great little, small town America feel to it and you’re just a couple of miles from downtown. It’s a great place to grab a meal, go antiquing and walk around town to do some shopping! There’s an awesome alley there called Battle Alley that has a fantastic little coffee shop and Ziggy’s ice cream. It’s directly across from The Holly Vault wedding venue and surrounded by cute little shops and restaurants. For downtown restaurants for breakfast/lunch we recommend Avia, Holly Cafe, Bittersweet and Mikes Coney. For pizza The Red Devil - that’s been around for as long as we can remember and Blackthorn, as well as Battle Alley Brewing Company always have good food and drinks. Taylors Tavern Bar & Kitchen is rumored to have great chicken, sandwiches and thick friend Jacks BBQ & Grrill is about 15 minutes south and comes highly recommended. Funky Fungi Tea House in Battle Alley is new to the area and offers Kava, kombucha and specialty teas, as well as desserts. If you want to travel a little, we own a cafe called L.A. Cafe & Java at 5815 Dixie Hwy. in Waterford. We are open 9am-3pm for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday-Sunday. If you do stop in, PLEASE say hello we are there every day The Laundry or Crust in Fenton are also great eating options! If you need to pick up groceries locally there’s Holly Foods or Walmart, Aldi and Meijer in Fenton. There’s so much to do in the area! Pine Knob - ski/snowboarding in the winter Pine Knob concert venue in the summer - the Ticketmaster ap will give you a full list of who’s playing there and when Mt. Holly Ski Resort Heather Highlands Golf Club Captain Phoggs offers hot air balloon rides and Putt Putt Golf There’s a downtown Holly farmers market on the weekends - outside in the summer and inside in the winter Wednesday nights offer an outdoor downtown vintage car show Th Detroit Model Railroad Club is right downtown There are three good hiking trails nearby - Seven Lakes State Park, Holly Recreation Area and Kensington State Park There’s Holly Woods Disk Golf Course in Holly Recreation Area and Sorensen Disk Golf in Sorensen Park (this is the closest location) There are at least 7 wedding venues nearby - The Holly Vault, Venue One Eleven, Red Riding Hood Stables, Cushing Field House, The Grande Belle and Pine Knob Mansion, as well as Carriage House In the fall, The Michigan Renaissance Festival’s fun to spend a day wandering Great Lakes Outlet Mall is a 20 minutes drive down I-75 headed south and full of shops, restaurants and a movie theater. Costco, Target, Sam’s Club, Aldi, Kohls, Michael’s, JoAnn Fabrics, Meijer… are all within a mile of there as well. We hope that this will give you some options for things to do, aside from enjoying yourself in The Holly Hideaways serene setting.
