Casa Tranquilla is a new, ultra modern home set among tall redwoods and firs, with a country feel but just a 5-minute walk from the village of Glen Ellen. The house features a large sunny wrap around deck for dining and relaxing. Enjoy the back deck with dining area, lots of seating, a fire pit, hot tub (brand new, sparkling clean, and yes it is fully operational!) and bocce ball court. The modern kitchen has a 5-burner stove and all new high-end appliances. Our upstairs open-plan dining room and living make for fun dinner parties and movie-watching. TVs are set up for streaming and we have fast WiFi. The sound system is bluetooth so your tunes are portable. The master king-size bedroom is upstairs with an en suite bathroom, free standing soaking tub, and a ginormous walk in shower. The closet is huge with plenty of room for all your stuff. The lovely queen bedroom is on the first floor with views of the old redwood trees. The third bedroom on the first floor has cute bunk beds and a twin bed. (Please note that the bunk beds are not suitable for adults.) Full bath downstairs with double vanity and walk in shower. We have a home office desk area with a laser printer/copier/scanner. Work while gazing at the redwoods! We have a pack-n-play and books and games for the kiddos. There is ample outdoor parking. (Three cars, max, please. It's the law in these parts.) We will not tolerate loud partying, so if that is what you are looking for, please book elsewhere. We like a party as much as the next person, but this isn't the place for that. It's Casa Tranquilla, Quiet House. Shhhh. No glitter or confetti of any type! Sonoma County has very strict quiet hours: 10 pm - 7 am. No use whatsoever of the outdoor areas is permitted between these hours. Pet Fee There is a non-refundable $100 extra cleaning fee for all pets and a $15 per night charge for each pet. Please do not bring a pet without telling us first. This fee is not included in the Airbnb total (so that you don't have to pay the extra %). We have a limit of 2 pets per stay. Guest access The whole house and decks and outdoor areas are yours to enjoy! Other things to note Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. You may not use the outdoor spaces between these hours. No amplified music at any time outside. Please keep our neighbors happy by keeping noise to a minimum, even outside the quiet hours. If our neighbors complain because of partying, the police may be called; you will be subject to a large fine and possible arrest. Sorry, but Sonoma County (and our neighbors!) are very strict about this policy. We have a strict no smoking and no open flame rule anywhere on the property including the front yard, driveway, and decks. Sonoma is a very high fire danger area. No smoking, candles, open flames, or outdoor fires anywhere on the property other than the fire pit. We have security cameras on the outside of the house. No camera faces inside nor near the hot tub for your privacy. As you are probably aware, there is widespread reconstruction taking place in Sonoma and Napa counties after the last few years of highly destructive wild fires. As much as we will endeavor to make your stay as wonderful and memorable as possible, there is the possibility of construction taking place in the surrounding area.
