Our retreat features 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a variety of bed sizes, thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate your group. All bathrooms are equipped with warm bidet toilet seats and rejuvenating rain showers, adding a touch of luxury to your stay. Unleash your culinary skills in our fully equipped chef's kitchen, complete with modern appliances. With multiple fireplaces, including gas and electric options, you can unwind and relax after a productive day exploring the farm. Our retreat, designed to be cozy, modern, rustic, romantic, luxurious, and peaceful, invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Prepare to return time and time again to this captivating destination. There is plenty of parking space, with 4 spots available in the attached garage and additional parking available outside. Guest access As a guest, you will have access to the entire house and the attached garage with the exception of one room in the basement. You are also welcome to enjoy all outdoor spaces except for the pond, which is currently not safe for swimming. Fishing is not permitted this year, but it will be available in 2024. Please do not enter the windmill house at any time, and note that the detached garage and barn are not for guest use. For your safety, we kindly ask that you use good judgment and be cautious while on the property. If you would like to observe the bees (coming spring 2023), please do so from a safe distance as recommended. Lastly, if you are interested in a farm tour, please let us know in advance so we can schedule an appointment. Other things to note If guests decide to venture beyond the 10-acre paradise of EDEN, there are several attractions nearby that are worth exploring. Just a short drive away, guests can catch a performance at the Woodstock Opera House, which is located 9 miles away and takes approximately 15 minutes to reach. Alternatively, they can take a stroll on the charming town square in the city where Groundhog Day was filmed. For those interested in outdoor activities, there are several options available within a short drive from EDEN. Guests can visit the beaches, golf courses, or shops in Fontana on Geneva Lake, which is located 15 miles away and takes approximately 23 minutes to reach. Lake Geneva, WI, is also nearby and offers plenty of attractions, such as beaches, golf courses, shops, and restaurants. It is located 25 miles away and takes approximately 35 minutes to reach. For winter sports enthusiasts, Mountain Top Ski & Adventure Center is a great option located 28 miles away, and it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach. Another option is Alpine Valley, which is located 35 miles away and takes approximately 47 minutes to reach. Golfers can enjoy a round at Oak Grove Golf Course, rated one of the top-25 most challenging public courses, which is located just 16 minutes away from EDEN. Alternatively, there are several other golf courses in the vicinity of Harvard, IL, that guests can explore.
