Our home on a private pond offers a beautiful escape in the Pocono Mountains for year-round getaways. It’s close to the best ski resorts, water parks and across the street from Pinecrest’s 18-hole championship golf course, but if you prefer you can just relax at the house and take advantage of the amenities of Sunset Pond. The space When you enter our spacious home, you’ll first notice the soaring ceilings, open floor plan, chic décor and modern artwork. The 40-foot ceilings provide an open air feel to the living room area which features both vintage and contemporary furniture, and the towering panel of windows showcases the natural beauty of Sunset Pond. The living room has plenty of seating for up to 12 people. Our collection of books includes many subjects like fashion, music, wine, travel and art. Upstairs, you can find many board and card games to enjoy as well. We recently purchased a 70” TV and a premium sound system (Bluetooth). The TV applications include Netflix, Prime and YouTube TV. You can also use Chromecast to enjoy your apps from your cell phone. The home has cable and satellite internet/WIFI so there are never any issues. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal for 12. We purchased high quality cookware and dining essentials. Preparing your meal will be a pleasure in the large, open kitchen with extra counterspace, and of course a dishwasher. Our cafe/coffee bar has an espresso maker (complimentary espresso), a tea brewer as well as a standard coffee maker, and we offer all of our guests’ complimentary coffee and a bottle of wine for your stay. The 3 large bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 people. The very large master suite, located on the first floor, has a king bed, large soaking tub, stand-alone shower, and a walk-in closet. Plus, a towel warmer. The second floor has two bedrooms. One has a queen bed, dresser and large desk in case someone needs to get some work done during your stay. The other bedroom has a full size and a twin bed as well as a dresser. The second floor also has a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Our home also has a sunroom (air conditioned) with skylights and a large custom table (seating for 8 people) built by a local artist. Outside, the deck is complete with a new Weber propane grill, a charcoal grill, table and umbrella. It's a wonderful place to grill in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the natural beauty of the pond and wildlife. **Our home can only be rented for 30 days or more because of local restrictions. The law requires rentals to be 31 days or more, but we offer the 31st day for free for anyone who rents for 30 days.
