Private Room in a Suburban Home.
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The space offers a homey experience with great views of the hills. It is very much a home and well-maintained. The dogs (two adults and one young German Shepherd) will keep you company in shared spaces. The youngest is a puppy with puppy energy but she’s coming along. The space The house is small yet spacious. The backyard has an awesome view of the hillside and sunset. The room is tidy and had a desk, tv, and ample closet space (if you're traveling with luggage). I do keep the house at a good ambient temperature but can run the heat if it is too cold (during the cooler months). Unfortunately, the house does not have A/C but the room does have a great ceiling fan and I can also provide additional floor fans as well. Only one of the two bathrooms is a shared bathroom. Guest access Access to living room, kitchen/dining table, garage gym, backyard, and shared bathroom. During your stay Interaction with one another can be as little or as much as you like. I will always greet you and say hello, but if you're booking just for the stay and not to socialize, I will respect that. I want to ensure the stay is pleasant, so I prefer communication if anything is out of order. You're paying for the stay, so I want to make it worthwhile. Other things to note Disclaimer: The house is cannabis friendly, but I prefer if it is smoked outside. I do not smoke anymore, but am not against it at all. Dogs: Out of respect and fairness for you, the guest, I emphasize the dogs. If you are fearful of dogs, this WILL NOT be the place for you. If you cannot be assertive with the dogs, this WILL NOT be the place for you. These are three LARGE dogs. The dogs will bark at you until they’re acquainted - usually a couple of days. I think it is very important that you are comfortable with large, vocal dogs. My wolf pack picks up on fear/timidness and will barkat you, but they DO NOT bite. The best approach is being loving and engaging with them (and sweet talking). The middle dog, Roux, is the biggest barker, but she is all love once she gets to warm up to guests. The youngest, Fig, is a puppy and has puppy energy. She can be a bit rowdy but it’s all in good fun. The German Shepherds will keep you company if your door is left open, but they're friendly. If you're home alone with them, they can. bark at anyone at the door or outside. There are dog cameras indoors but they are used solely for the dogs and ARE NOT in private areas. If you have concerns, please express them to me and I will accommodate for your visit. I try my best to accommodate noise during the early mornings and later evenings. If you need to sleep, earplugs may help (I can also provide some if you need them). I have recently started working morning shifts, so they may occasionally bark somewhat early while I am gone for work.
