Our home features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stunning views with an adjoining great room featuring a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, large television, comfy furniture including a 10-foot custom Amish built dining table for gathering with friends and family. Doors lead to a large comfy deck, with incredible views of the mighty Mississippi River. On the main level, you will also find a gorgeous primary bedroom with king size bed, large doors opening to deck as well as updated private bath with a soaker tub. In addition, there are two spacious bedrooms, a full bath, a “Zen Den” for reading and relaxing. The comfy sectional in the great room includes a sleeper sofa. A convenient laundry room provides a washer and dryer. The lower level features a large space for gathering and playing games. Two large doors lead outside to the hot tub, outdoor patio, grill and fire pit. There are two spacious bedrooms with queen-size beds and a full bath. One room has the perfect place for remote work with a dedicated workspace and access to our high-speed Internet. In addition, there is a game room for family fun with a ping pong table and an additional beverage cooler. Guest access The entire space is yours to enjoy during your stay with the exception of the closet in the primary bedroom, garages and storage areas. There is ample parking for 4 vehicles. Other things to note Although we love fur babies, no pets are allowed at this property. No parties are allowed. This is a “Giving House”. We believe in the goodness of people. We feel you can do well and do good. Your stay will provide a child clean water for 20 years in Uganda Africa. We are inspired by our oldest son, Jesse, who tragically died at the age of 17. He dreamed of being an engineer for the Peace Corps and providing clean water for children in Africa. Since his death in 2009 our family, along with many supporters, have worked to build clean water wells in Haiti and Africa. We developed a long-term friendship with the people of Uganda where we provide clean water, education, microloans and basic food and supplies for many kind people in need. In our home you will notice many of the art works and “gifts” we have received from our friends in Uganda. Your stay will provide a child their first taste of clean water for 20 years.
