Beautiful modern country style seacoast retreat. The home is one level with a series of living spaces all oriented to take view of Hatchet Cove in the quaint seaside coastal fishing community of Friendship. Sit back and relax with a book and gaze at the eagles as they soar by or at the beautiful seaside gardens. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat along the coast of midcoast Maine, our place will not disappoint. There is a small private local beach up the point. The space This is a single level 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home. The bedroom wing consists of three bedrooms and one full bathroom. In addition to the full bathroom, there is an outdoor shower and changing area directly outside the bedroom wing for extra showering under the skies! Completely optional and nice to have after a beach or kayak day. The 4th bedroom is located off the great room along with a second full bathroom with a shower. This room is private and large and offers a nice space for guests or grandparents. The great room is large with soaring shiplapped ceilings, skylights, two sets of patio doors and 6 ocean facing windows. This room has a beautiful light and airy vacation feel and also provides a nice entertaining space in the evening. There is a Smart TV with streaming and cable programming. The main section of the house contains the main entry, the country style open kitchen with vaulted ceilings and a loft space, and separate dining room which can also be used for office space. The kitchen has an eat in table and has direct access to the railed deck and outdoor dining. Large outdoor deck for dining and relaxing and taking in the views. The large backyard provides plenty of space for outdoor games. Guest access Entire home. Other things to note I will leave a house manual in the home. It will include dining and shopping information, etc... I am happy to suggest activities in the area. There is plenty to do on the MidCoast. I have an outdoor security camera for the off-season or when the house is unoccupied. The camera is shut off during rental stays. For long-term stays (longer than 1 week), the guest will be responsible for taking trash to the local transfer station in Waldoboro. I ask that guests lock the house when it is unoccupied.....for instance, if guests leave on a day trip for the day.
