The space Before even entering Pelican Place the vacation has begun with the hand carved totem pole greeting you by the front door, The living room is comfortable and spacious for two. The smartTV, couch, and rocker make for the perfect space to watch a program after a day of fun. And the 2 person breakfast bar works for your mealtime needs. Working on vacation? There is also a dedicated workspace in the living area. Off of the living area is the kitchenette. With all the delicious local cuisine, the mini fridge and microwave help in saving and enjoying all those yummy leftovers. Our coffee station is stocked with complimentary regular and decaf options to start the day right. Also off the living area is the king-size suite. The inviting king-size bed welcomes you to a good nights rest. The fun wallpaper and thoughtful touches truly make the space. And the ensuite bathroom with oversized vanity area is plenty space for two to get ready. Beyond the apartment, there is so many fabulous outdoor spaces. The porch is fun and tropical - with the large adirondack chairs to sip wine in or read a good book! There's the fabulous pool - private to you (which is absolutely unheard of with a 1 bed in the area). Beat the heat or lounge poolside and get some sun. The outdoor shower is great to rinse off after the pool. There are also several BBQ grills you're welcome to use, and several seating areas for you to enjoy the property (and yes, that includes a hammock!). Our favorite place though is the stargazing deck... take your favorite person up there and be amazed by the expansive views of the night sky. Around town there is lots of fun to be had. The iconic Tides Inn is walking distance to the property. They offer activities, a spa, delicious restaurants, and a marina. There are tons of great local charters and sail boating excursions you can join in on. Local markets frequently, fun consignment/antique stores, and other cute local places. For the foodies, there's loads of places we'd recommend; The Office, Allure, Dredge, and CAMP just to name a few. Irvington and VA's Northern Neck offer the right balance between fun, relaxation, style, and that wholesome feeling of a classic small town vacation... what are you waiting for! Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment, private access to the pool, and access to the property. Please note the owner (and his dog) do live in the primary residence, so in some shared parts of the property you may encounter one another. His dog and himself are super friendly and love meeting new people. Please be respectful of them as well.
