Our home offers the best of both worlds - a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and yet conveniently located near the bustling areas. The space Our home is beautifully updated throughout, with elevated hilltop views on a large wooded cul-de-sac lot, and stately curb appeal high on the hill (stairs involved). Enjoy the outdoors with a backyard deck and a quaint front yard paver patio where you may encounter the special visitors - the deer family. ☼ House Location Highlights ☼ Close to Woodbury shopping centers, restaurants and grocery stores (less than 10 min drive) Close to 3M Headquarters (8 min drive) Close to the Battle Creek Regional Park with several trails and very bike friendly (4 min drive) 10 mins to downtown St Paul and 20 mins to downtown Minneapolis 12 mins from CHS Field 20 mins from Hudson, WI The house is located in the serene, secured and nice residential neighborhood which is perfect for someone coming for work, family visits, state fair and concerts. ☼THE SUNSET BEDROOM☼ The Sunrise Room, located on the second story (stairs involved), features a back yard woods and sunset view that lets in plenty of natural sunlight in the afternoon. The bedroom is designed to bring you a blend of vintage and industrial styles which features a cozy queen bed with a variety of pillows ranging from plush to cool touch memory foam to throw pillows, and soft throw blankets and cool linen sheets. The wall is adorned with framed wall arts, displaying our favorite wall arts collection. Extra items offered for free: - Extra blankets - Hand towels - Bath towels - Makeup towels - Snacks of different types as a welcome gift - Bottled water as a welcome gift - Several types of instant coffee, decaf tea, lipton and green tea - Luggage rack - Internet for remote working, a desk and chair - A plenty space for parking your car(s) - Blow dryer, q-tips, cotton balls, cotton pad, makeup removers - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash ☼ SHARED BATHROOM ☼ You'll have access to a shared bathroom, complete with a blow dryer and makeup removers during your stay. Please note that other guests in the other room named Sunset Room will share the bathroom with you. Please see my listing if you are interested in booking our Twin rooms (Sunrise + Sunset) and the bathroom will be dedicated to the two rooms only. ☼ EXTRA AMENITIES ☼ Kitchen is not shared (is negotiable for long stays, have to be pre-arranged) but feel free to use the guest-dedicated microwave, our dining room, electric kettle and the special Vietnamese instant coffee and tea station (located on the counter in the kitchen). The room features a working table and chair with high-speed WiFi and a quiet environment for business travelers or those who need to stay connected. You will have access to our backyard deck and a quaint front yard paver patio to enjoy the sunlight or sunset views. ☼ MORE IMPORTANT DETAILS ☼ Kitchen is not shared. Our house is on the hill and the bedroom is on the second floor so please expect to use stairs during the stay. Our house rule is no pet (please let us know prior to booking and sending us the documents for service animal), no party and no smoking inside and outside. Breaking the rule will lead to $500+ fine depending on the severity. We would greatly appreciate if you please don’t wear outdoor shoes indoors. Please bring your our house shoes or we provide the house shoes for guests also. Parking is available on-site in the driveway or in front of our front yard. You’ll do self check-in with a passcode lock and your bedroom will have the keys as well. Please note that we have a friendly and fluffy Goldendoodle resident dog that will mainly stay in our private bedroom. We are happy to let him get introduced with you if you are open to make friend with him :) Also, I am a registered foster for the local rescues so I may have a foster dog in the house but will be separated from guests during the stay. As your hosts, we'll do everything we can to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We're always available to answer any questions or provide assistance, but we also respect your privacy and space.
