We are on a septic and well, so thoughtful use of dishwasher and clothes washing machine is respectfully requested. Hiking trailheads nearby that traverse up to sweeping views of the ocean bay and San Juan Islands, and traverse through the beautiful Chuckanut mountains. Galbraith’s epic mountain biking trails are less than a 10 min drive away; road biking from the end of the driveway. Just a few minutes drive to historic downtown Fairhaven with shopping, restaurants, and water-front parks. Nearby ocean kayaking, adventures in the Mt Baker Wilderness, seasonal ferry to San Juan Islands/Victoria, downtown Bellingham, and so much more! Includes exclusive use of the sauna and hot tub, your own parking areas, acres of pasture and evergreens surrounding the home with private 180 degree views. Barn and surrounding area (paddock, round pen, and enclosed electric portion of the pasture) are off-limits to guests. We are occasionally at the barn doing projects. Other things to note Wildlife: Keep in mind that wildlife do live in the adjacent hill/mountain. Coyotes and deer frequent the property. Neighbors have reported cougar and bear nearby. Smaller kids should not play alone on the hill (swing) or hike the trails alone.
