Relax by the campfire, enjoy the hammock or go kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, or golfing. Cabin sleeps 4 and is comfortably furnished and stocked with cookware, dishes & linens. Gas grill & cooler available. WIFI & smart TV's in each room. Many classic DVD's and VHS tapes & games to enjoy. Close to all ORV/Snowmobile Trails. The space Our home is a cozy rustic cabin, nestled in a nice quiet lot across the street from public access to East Twin Lake! We offer two bedrooms, both with a queen bed and ample closets. The couch pulls out for an additional bed, children only please. On the front porch, we have a nice sitting area with a rocking chair and many children’s toys, games and movies for the family. There are TVs in all the bedrooms and in the living room. All TVs are smart TVs with access to our Netflix. You are able to use your personal account at your own discretion. The cabin is not equipped with central heat and air. However, there are fans in all the bedrooms and living room and one portable fan as well. Appliances are original to the home but still work satisfactory. There are outdoor toys available in the garage and a gas grill. There is a table with four chairs in the garage for dining or to play cards or games! A campfire is in the yard, but you must be vigilant to prevent a forest fire or home fire. You must have water access available. There is a hose on the backside of the house and buckets in the garage. Kayaks, paddle boards (stand-up), and a canoe are available for guests to rent. The rental fee is $50.00 per day for the duration of your stay or $200 per week for those guests staying 1 week or more. If you choose to use the watercraft equipment, you must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability form prior to use. Please provide an email address so we can forward that to you. All those participating in activities that are 21 and older MUST sign the Waiver and Release of Liability form. All those participating that are under the age of 21 MUST be listed on the Waiver and Release of Liability form. Once the waiver is signed, returned, and payment is remitted (determined on your length of stay), you will receive a code to the lock box to release the watercraft equipment, all located on the rack located in the back of the property. Life jackets can be found hanging in the garage. You will find the paddles there as well. Various sizes have been provided. Please return life jackets as found so they may properly dry. Please return watercraft to the rack. Please return key to the lock box. *Michigan state law requires life jackets for use of kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes. Please be cautious when using the hammock as it sits several feet off of the ground and could cause injury if you fall. If you choose to use it, it is at your own discretion. We will not be responsible for any injury. We do allow pets. There is an additional housekeeping fee of $100 for up to 2 pets. A $50 fee will be applied for each additional pet over 2 and up to 4 maximum. You must leash pet when outdoors and crate pet if left unattended in home. Please clean up the yard after your pet. We allow a maximum of four guests. WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR CABIN AND AMENITIES: Guest understands that there are special health risks that may be involved in using the Cabin, as well as safety risks using other areas of the cabin (fire pit, barbeque and firebox as examples). In particular, he or she understands that there are potential dangers that these amenities may present to children who are not carefully supervised as well as dangers to any person who is intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication. Guest agrees to explain the risks of using the amenities to any guests at the cabin and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents, medical conditions or injuries his or her guests may incur. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that he or she will assume all responsibility for his or herself and their guests for the consequences of those risks. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Owner for accidents, medical conditions or claims arising from his or her own use or guests use of the cabin amenities. Guest also understands and agrees that he or she is responsible and liable and will pay Owner upon request for any damages that occur to the cabin amenities and its support equipment through his or her own or guests’ misuse and/or negligence, for example, but not limited to, neglecting to extinguish all fires in the grill or fire pit. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with an exception to a small portion of the garage and the housekeeping closet.
