The Peasant's Quarters has an eat-in kitchen with a full-size stove/frig. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed. We also have a queen-size pull-out couch. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a private entrance with on-site parking. We are not far away from all the fun in Lake Placid/ Lake George or a day trip into Vermont. The space We live on 7 acres where you can take beautiful short walks. Lk. Champlain is 5 minutes down the road. We live in the Adirondacks Mts with many ponds/streams to fish in. Sking/snowmobiling is up and running here too. Guest access Parking here is free. You have the whole place to yourself. We have biking/ boating/ snowmobiling/ice fishing/ winter hiking, breweries, wineries, movies/music venues, take-out, and sit-down restaurants. There are great places to take walks/runs/jogs. Please make us your home away from home getaway. Longer stays for traveling professional workers are welcome. Save money on hotels/motels and relax with us. Other things to note Because of our small-town feel, we don't have a full offering of grocery stores to choose from. We have Stewart's shop where you can get gas, ATMs, etc. They are open until 11 PM. We also have a local farm store where you can buy homegrown products like meats/eggs/bread/veggies/fruits. Sit-down dining is just a few miles away. Come stay a night or a week we would love to have you as our guest. Pets are welcome and you can take them on walks right on the property. There are many short drives to get great food and entertainment venues.
