The space This lakefront home invites you to create fun-filled summer memories that will last a life time and partake in the adventures and joys of one of Maine's most coveted lakes, just as the owners have for over 20 years. The homes layout features a thoughtful design that allows guests to cozy up to one another while never being too far from a quiet nook to enjoy a good book. The first floor is comprised of the kitchen, full size dining room, pantry for your favorite summer vacation snacks and meals, bonus space for work or for play, half bath, and spacious living room with sweeping lake views, comfy couches and chairs, plenty of blankets, tv, a tuned piano, and all the charm of a Maine cabin. The living room connects to a massive screened in porch where you'll enjoy every meal without the company of Maine's state bird, the mosquito. All 5 bedrooms, the full bath, and the washer and dryer, are conveniently located on the second floor. Pack light as the home is outfitted with linens, soaps and shampoos, plenty of games for a rainy day or some fun game nights, and one paddle board. The living room is cooled via a split pump that offers an a/c and dehumidifier function while the primary bedroom has a window mounted a/c unit. No Partying. This home is located in an HOA and it's important to be respectful to the neighbors. Guest access Guests will find plenty of parking in the driveway and will use the electronic keypad located on the door closest to the patio with the grill and fireplace. Other things to note On the Lake: Rent a pontoon, a kayak or a paddle board at Lakeside Marina, a five minute drive from the home. One may find the perfect day in paddle boarding to the light house and venture back to the home for lunch before making it back out for an afternoon ride. Whatever your method of transportation, be sure to locate Horseshoe Cove and the many rope swings hiding in plain sight. Off The lake: While we'll save most of these hidden gems for the guest book. The space is located close to some wonderful restaurants, breweries, cideries and grocery stores. A date night in Hallowell is just 15 minutes away and shoppers and movie goers will find everything they are looking for in Augusta in the same amount of time.
