THIS IS NOT the whole home, but is the entire lower level, which feels like one of the units in a duplex. Cabinesque, roomy, close to almost anything you would need, cozy- these are a few words to describe it. You have your own private locked entrance from the garage, where you can park. The door between the levels is locked. This space boasts a gorgeous, new bathroom, new kitchen, huge flat screen tv, 2 large bedrooms, with the dining room and living room connected. The space Here are some specifics to take note of: - VERY IMPORTANT: There are two things we charge for, which are NOT automatically tabulated: Pets, and one night stays do get charged differently. Pets: - To all animal lovers and owners: WE DO HAVE A COST PER NIGHT PER PET. Airbnb doesn’t allow us liberty on how we charge unless we charge apart from the standard cost, the standard way. It’s $35 for the first night $10/night for the next three nights $5/night for every night after that. One night charge: Because turnovers take more time and energy, and communication, etc., people who stay only one night will be charged 20% fee on top of the normal cost. For example, this only comes to $23 extra when the nightly cost is $70. This amount will be charged to you after the reservation is made. - Also, we do have a dog but he is super friendly and harmless. However, he does have a trap door so he can go freely between the house and the back yard, that’s fenced in. We have many guests and all that have commented about our dog say he is sweet or friendly or something along those lines.) - For shower: Simply pull the handle straight out to about 10 o clock. There is a sticker pointing to where the handle should be pointed (for an average temp.). If you want it hotter, move it to the left, colder, move it to the right. That simple. - The laundry room in the lower level is the only room that is not rented out. We don’t go downstairs to use that while there are guests! (If the guest is ok with it AND we discuss it, we could use the back entrance to do laundry). - As as of right now, the ways to use the TV are either using Netflix, use the Amazon fire stick, or if you really want something different, download the app called chrome cast or Google Home, and using that you can watch almost anything by casting it from your phone! Ask us if you have questions. - The two beds that are individuals are in the day bed in the bedroom on the left. - There are five chairs around the kitchen table. And if you have a sixth guest, you can use the chair that’s in the storage area underneath the stairs. - When you show up, simply use the garage code that I gave you to enter the left garage stall. At the back left, there is the door to the lower unit. There is a key to it, if you want to lock it. Then you will use the garage remote in the unit to come and go as you please… Guest access All of lower level, except for the laundry room. Other things to note We do keep quiet hours of 10 PM- 6 AM. This should be respected. But, we should note that we do usually play with baby in the room above the living room for maybe a half hour or more, sometime before 9 am. So, you may hear more noise during those times. But we don’t do anything super noisy like bouncing hard balls or running with shoes on. Let us know if it’s a bother for you and we can DEFINITELY tone it down for you 😉. But generally speaking, we are pretty quiet. - DO NOT place hot drinks on the countertop OR the dining room table (dining room table is actually very sensitive). So, simply use coasters. - Please 🙏🏽 wash your own dishes. We have to clean the whole place after every check out, so dishes have to be washed by guests in order to keep the cleaning cost the same. Thanks! 🙂 - Also, we’ve had guests who simply don’t think it’s necessary to keep the garage door shut when they enter or leave. It is necessary and because you are given a remote control, which you can take with you, it’s actually quite easy to use! 🙂 - If something gets damaged or ruined, Airbnb Can demand payment for damages (so, if there is an accident, it’s much better to try to work it out with us directly than with Airbnb, if possible). - Please note that sometimes guests leave items in the fridge or elsewhere. We leave those items there if they are unopened, like beverages, bags, etc. if you don’t want it, just leave it there and someone else may want it. 😀
