Enjoy the magic of the upper Kenai River on your own acre of land on the rivers edge. In your own private cabin, indulge in the beauty of the river life surrounded by towering mountains, Bald Eagles, Sockeye and Silver Salmon, Rainbow Trout, the occasional bear, moose and mountain goat, and the commonly seen rafts and drift boats floating by. In this area, you will enjoy fishing, kayaking, drifting, hiking, mountain biking, or just relaxing enjoying the view by an indoor or outdoor fire. The space This is a log cabin on a private lot on the river bank with a large deck overlooking a amazing landscape of a river surrounded by mountains. There is an outdoor fire pit and gazebo for grilling and dinning. In the cooler days, there is a inside fireplace to warm you up. There is a small queen sized bedroom on the main floor and a loft bedroom/lounge with a queen bed and queen sofa bed. There is a kitchen with a range and stove, refrigerator and dish ware. Guest access The whole cabin. Other things to note Fishing from the riverside is very limited on the upper Kenai River due to the trees and shrubbery that lines the river banks. There are select spots to fish from the riverbank. A drift boat fishing guide is the most common and fun way to fish here. The bank the cabin is on isn’t really accessible for fishing. The cabin is located 5 minutes from any fishing guide on the upper Kenai River. Please refer to the guide book. We recommend you book far in advance for any fishing guides.
