Sunset Cottage is nestled on the Southern shore of Elizabeth lake amongst beautiful cattails and wildlife.  Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the deck, unwind under the stars in the hot tub or go kayaking around the lake. This newly renovated 2 bd 1 bath home is ideal for couples or small families looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle to make memories and connect with each other.  Plenty of year round activities are nearby making it the perfect, stress free getaway. **NO PARTIES!** The space Vaulted ceilings and an open concept give the cottage a modern, light and airy feel, while still maintaining its cozy rustic charm.  The home was recently fully renovated inside and out, with every inch being thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort and space. Cozy up in front of the remote controlled fireplace on the large and comfy sectional, play some board games, watch a movie or read a book from our collection. The home does have wifi, and there is a large smart TV in the family room. The kitchen has a double oven, dishwasher and everything else you might need to feel at home while cooking. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, a small workspace as well as sliding doors to the deck and easy access to the hot tub.  Additionally, there is a small washer and dryer in the closet.  Bedroom 2 has a custom designed bunk bed, with a queen bed on the bottom, and a twin XL on the top.  Outside, you will find a wide open deck with many seating & lounging options for enjoying the outdoors. Warm up around the fire pit or unwind under the stars in the hot tub. There are also two kayaks available for guest use. We have a custom installed yakport kayak launcher for easy in and out from the dock. Please note that the water in the channel is very weedy and not suitable for swimming. For families traveling with kids, we have a basket full of thoughtfully curated books, two baskets of toys, as well as double blackout blinds & curtains, a sound machine and "ok to wake" clock. Boat rental, including pontoons, jet skis, paddle boards, and more are available from Twin Lakes Boat rental, which is walking distance from the house. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. Other things to note The cottage is on the Southern end of Elizabeth Lake, which is NOT great for swimming activities as the water is weedy. It is, however, excellent for those looking for peace & tranquility, nature lovers, bird watching, kayaking & fishing. A free, public beach with ample, easy parking is less than 10 minutes away, and we provide beach towels & chairs. Additionally, many guests choose to rent a boat (walking distance from the house!) or bring their own boat to enjoy swimming at the sand bar & all the lake has to offer. We love our neighbors--absolutely no parties of any kind are permitted and no smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises. Driveway parking is for registered guests only, street parking is not allowed.
