Stay in a mid-century, comfy home close to historic Benicia, Napa, the SF Ferry, and Oakland. We are 20 minutes to wine country and one block from a public pool and pickleball courts (paddles and balls available). Your private bedroom is equipped with Queen bed, double closets with shelves, hardwood floors and a private bath with shower. We are open to long-term stays and small family visits (up to two adults). We have a family room that is big enough for a couple of kids to crash in. The space There are three bedrooms, all on one end of the house, and a hallway leads to kitchen, living area and the family room exits into a large shaded yard. You may access the garage to do laundry but please ask . The backyard is large and is the preferred sunbathing area of our dog, Brightie. She’s very sweet and loves attention. Guest access Backyard, front yard, kitchen, and living room are available all day for guest use. The family/TV/game room is available from 8 am -7 pm (or overnight for an additional fee; please enquire. During your stay I teach during the week, but my 26 year old is available most of the day to assist you. We are early to bed, but like to watch TV in the family room most evenings. Weekends I’m around, gardening or playing pickleball; text me for a quick response. Other things to note Please keep in mind that we are a family and our home is cozy, funky, eclectic and warm, and we like it that way. We love meeting new people from all walks of life, whether you're between places or visiting for pleasure, you are welcome here, but artists of all types are especially welcome... :-)
