There is a semi-open stairway between the basement entrance and upstairs kitchen that is separated by a locked partition as well as a locked entry door at the bottom of the stairs for added privacy. Potential for hearing/being heard by each other if you are in the stairwell. If you are looking for complete privacy in regards to noise, this residence would not meet your needs. Sorry, pets are not allowed. Guest access You will have full access to the basement area of the home via a private entrance, and the backyard area. We have ample parking behind the house (enter through the alley). Walk through the gate and turn to the left, where you will find a private entrance to the apartment. Just please don't judge the yard ...it is definitely a work in progress! You may also park on the street in front of the house. Please avoid parking in front of the neighbor's homes and driveways. Other things to note As a reminder, this a two unit residence. Each guest is expected to follow house rules, especially in reference to "Quiet Time" in an effort to respect each other’s peace and enjoyment of their stay. In addition, each unit has its own entrance and key code to gain access to their unit. If you are uncomfortable with the layout of the residence and having the minimal shared space, then this residence is not for you. Please refer to the section House Rules for further information.
