This house has a great location for all. We have updated and have new appliances & furniture throughout. Perfect for a family reunion has lots of room sleeps 14. We’re only 1/4 mile to Lighthouse Marina, 1/4 mile to Island View Park, 23 minutes to The Wildlife Refuge and 30 minute drive to Choctaw Casino. The space Expect comfort when you stay here in our Shroeline Cottage and Barn. The beds are super comfy with fluffy pillows to insure your comfort. The master suite has a king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with a full bed in the loft as well as the couch having a trumbull that pulls out to make another bed. Then in the barn there is a queen bed with a full bed lofted over it and then there is a futon in the large room so altogether sleeps 14 people There’s so much to do on Lake Texoma! What if it rains? Well we have you covered... We have a Pool table and FoosBall Table in the barn along with a Ping Pong Table in the sunroom in the house. Both places have many board games, puzzles, cards, adult coloring books to children's coloring books aswell as reading material. Both places have a 55" flat screen TV with ROKU where you can watch your favorite shows with your streaming subscription like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu ect. If it's nice out we have a corn hole game in a case behind the couch against the wall. Just enjoying each other’s company, you’re not on top of each other plenty of room for everyone! Guest access Ample parking for vehicles and trailers on the street as well as in either of the 2 driveways. There are numerous guides out of the marina, perfect for early morning fishing trips. You'll be just a few blocks ks from Lighthouse Marina and a few miles from Highport Marina. The islands are right outside of Mill Creek Marina. There are many guided tours and boat rentals for fishing if you don't have a boat. Also there is dinner cruises nearby. Just a short drive to numerous liquor stores, grocery stores and restaurants. If you don't already have fishing licences for fishing on Lake Texoma be sure and get one at any of the marinas. Island View Park: Is less than a mile away from the cottage! Island View Park is one of the most popular day use parks at Lake Texoma. Visitors can buy day passes, make reservations, rent kayaks, and reserve shelters online. It is open from 9 a.m. to sunset, which is different in every season. Visitors can take guided kayak tours or a beach picnic boat trip from Island View. They can host corporate events, family reunions, weddings, and more with Island View’s event planners at its event spaces. Pets are welcome on leashes. Island View does not allow firearms, fireworks, or open fires. Find Island View Park at: 87426 Preston Bend Rd, Pottsboro, Texas. Other things to note The kitchens are both fully equipped with pots and pans, dinner wear, wine glasses, ice tea glasses, juice glasses and many utensils. Whip up a yummy breakfast drink in the blender or have yourself a toasted beagle or a piece of toast in the toaster. There is a coffee pot to brew that perfect cup to drink out on the back porch in one of the Adirondack chairs or on the front porch of the house. The barn doesn't have a dishwasher but there is one in the house. Complimentary items in both the house and bar: 2 Paper towel rolls 2 Toilet Paper rolls 2 Trash bags 2 Baggies 2 Coffee packets and K cups 4 Flavored Creamers 2 Tea bags Salt Pepper If you feel you may need more of these items please bring them from home or stop by one of the grocery stores on the way. We are on a septic system so please only use septic safe TP and please don't throw any other items down toilet. There's a BBQ grill so you can grill up some yummy steak;) or have a fish fry with all the fish you catch. The house has a heat pump to heat and cool and the Barn is heated with electric heaters and cooled by window air conditioners. The property is on a routine schedule pest maintenance. You may see one of those little pests that manage to squeeze in and we apologize for the inconvenience.
