Wolfeboro in winter is the ideal destination for those seeking both adventure and relaxation, with all the charm of a classic New England town. The space Welcome to "The Morning Glory House" our families special place where you will find four beautiful bedrooms and both indoor and outdoor living spaces including a large backyard with glorious morning sunrises thus why we call it "The Morning Glory House". "A great space in a great area! The home is absolutely beautiful surrounded by amazing scenery. The host was very attentive and had excellent communication with us during our stay. Would love to stay there again in the future" ~Sean The Morning Glory House is a modern feeling home that has our guests comfort and overall experience in mind blending modern amenities with a subtle nod to the charm and nostalgia of a New Hampshire cottage. Whether you are coming to Wolfeboro to enjoy Lake Winnipesaukee or to golf, ski, shop, hike, swim or simply to enjoy the beauty of New Hampshire the Morning Glory House provides the perfect space and location to connect you to all that the Lakes Region has to offer. "Had a great winter weekend stay at Lisa’s wonderful home. Everything was in excellent condition and there were beautiful touches and decor throughout. With family and friends in Wolfeboro we have stayed in all of the local hotels/inns and many different area airbnbs and rentals and I can honestly say this is our new favorite. Lisa is a great host and is focused on ensuring guest have everything they need. The attention to detail really stands out as the house is set up and stocked exceptionally well to feel truly like a home rather than a typical rental. Will certainly look to stay again."~Jeffrey HOME HIGHLIGHTS INDOOR LIVING: The home has areas for connecting and socializing as well as private reading nooks and spaces to rest peacefully. There is a lot of natural light with local artists such as Jeremy Noyes, Cate Poole and Peter Furber featured throughout the home. The living room has an enormous and comfortable sofa with a cozy fireplace for chilly winter nights and a large bay window to sit and read or relax in. COMFORTING AMENITIES: We have taken great care in attempting to provide special touches to make your stay more comfortable such as multiple brewing choices for your daily coffee/tea at our "Coffee Bar" and soft bed linens with both firm and soft hypoallergenic pillows. KITCHEN: If you love to cook like I do and you're going to cook while on vacation we want to make it as easy and as fun as possible. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with quality appliances and tools to enjoy the experience of entertaining. "Stop looking for other places to stay in Wolfeboro! This is the most comfortable and beautiful property we have stayed at in a long time. Lisa has thought of everything you could possibly need or want in this home. The kitchen is well stocked with high end tools and you will want for nothing if you are a cook! All appliances are new and easy to use and the house was spotless. Comfy beds, all new fixtures and lighting make this home so perfect. Lisa is a great host also, with a personal knowledge of the town and great ideas on what to do and where to go:)" ~Allison PARKING: The home has a long driveway with room for three cars and a convenient universal Electric Vehicle Charger for those traveling from the city. NEIGHBORHOOD: The home is located on North Main Street just close enough to walk to town and just far enough away to have some peace and quiet from all the excitement. North Main Street is a busy street yet with the almost acre of a back yard and our outdoor patio with fireable and adirondack chairs it feels like your own quiet oasis of peace and tranquility. "We loved being able to walk into Wolfeboro for coffee or lunch-the oldest summer resort in America lived up to its name." ~Cordy Wonderful Home in Wolfeboro! "We had plenty of room in this immaculate, comfortable, and light-filled home. Everything was so tidy. All the little details - fresh flowers and cookies (yummy) on our arrival - made us feel at home as soon as we walked in the door. We had everything we needed -- and more! We loved the back porch for morning coffee and a glass of wine at the end of the day Location on N. Main Street made for easy access to all the shops and restaurants in town. We will definitely return to this wonderful home." ~Carolyn Guest access We want all of our guests to feel relaxed and at home while at The Morning Glory House. Please be inspired to create fun traditions while you are at our home. One thing we love to do, that was my great Aunt Madelines tradition on the lake was to "gently" ring the big Bell on the patio when it's time for our family dinner or evening cocktail. She liked to call it "Happy Hour" ~Please respect the neighbors if you choose this tradition and notice "gently"~ Be inspired to play family board games in the sun room and play horse shoes and corn hole in the backyard... Use our beach trolley and coolers to listen to live music in Cate Park or enjoy a sunset at the beach with your friends and family... All we ask in return is that you have a fabulous time, make wonderful memories with your favorite people and treat our home as if it were your own. The areas reserved for "Owners Only" inside the home are clearly marked as well as the right side of the garage. Other things to note Guests will enjoy abundant convenience with our easy location, home amenities and free EV charging station. You can enjoy the beautiful area of downtown Wolfeboro with fabulous restaurants, quaint coffee shops, seasonal concerts in Cate Park and the iconic Town Docks all just minutes away from the house. Whether it's shopping in town, enjoying Lake Winnipesaukee, exploring Sewall Woods, riding bicycles on the famous Cotton Valley Rail Trail, sweet treats at the Yum Yum Shop, or hiking to the top of Mount Major for panoramic views & wild blueberries this area has it all. Additionally in the winter we are only a 5 minute drive to the Pop Whalen Ice and Arts Center and a 6 minute drive to the Abenaki Ski Area. It is also only about 38 minutes for skiing, zip lining and hiking at Gunstock Mountain Resort and 35 minutes to King Pine Ski Resort.
