The Forest Dome is located on 122 acres of forestry land - miles of trails for hiking and biking. 2 ponds, 1 creek and lots of privacy. Trail access right from your rental space into the forest. Sorry, no swimming in our ponds or creek. Dome guests have access to the Silver Creek Lounge (3 minute walk away). The Lounge has microwave, coffee pot, fridge, conference table, bathroom, running water, sink, WIFI. The Lounge is a shared space with other campers and property owners. On occasion, the Lounge may be unavailable due to a private rental. Property owners are available if needed - please text/call or use the app for messaging. Otherwise, we respect your privacy and we won't be in your space! Our neighborhood is a forest. 122 acres of trees, ponds, and a creek - no barking dogs, no rowdy neighbors. Kingston (dining), Hansville (beaches), and Port Gamble (trails for biking and hiking) are 10 minute drives away. Point Casino (games/dining) is 3 minutes away. You can park right next to the Forest Dome. You'll be able to walk/hike/bike around our trails. Heat/Power in the Dome - the inside is heated with a woodstove and outdoor cooking is with propane. The outside lights are solar, the inside lights are rechargeable battery operated. Inside electric water kettle is operated with large power bank. The woodstove cuts the chill from the air...but the Dome walls are not insulated, so in cold weather, it can still be pretty chilly. Please check the weather before booking...and bring warm clothes for winter stays. Warm weather - we have a solar fan in the roof, battery operated portable fans, and a screen door. The Lounge (if available) also has air conditioning.
