Our house is an oasis in Oaxaca. It features pale terrazzo floors, lots of light and a wall of windows in the living/dining space that looks out onto the garden. It has 3 bedrooms in the main house as well as an office with a comfy daybed and a separate casita. It's newly renovated by a professional designer. There's a real chef's kitchen. It's filled with art, custom designed furniture and vintage finds. Outside there’s an edible garden, shaded dining area and a comfy hammock. The space The house is approximately 2000 sq feet on two levels. There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The bedrooms feature down pillows, high thread count organic cotton sheets, organic mattresses and black out blinds. It has a brand new chefs kitchen with local marble counters, a smeg gas oven and cooktop and a dishwasher. The house also features 3.5 renovated bathrooms with rainfall shower heads and a house wide triple water filtration system. We also have drinking water on tap, a rarity in Oaxaca. There’s cactus garden in the front and out the back there is a herb/edible garden with shaded outdoor dining area that seats 8 and cozy hammock as well as handmade solid cedar benches that are a great spot for a morning coffee. Fast wifi throughout the house. The house also comes with a wonderful housekeeper who comes 3x a week. She does all the laundry (including personal items), she can also cook for you if required. Our place is walking distance to downtown and 5 min from a fantastic 7 day a week farmers market! Finally, the house also features secure off-street parking for 2 cars if required.
