The shop is a free standing former workshop that has been newly renovated. It is nestled on the side of a mountain with a partial wrap around porch and lots of sunshine. The shop feels like a cozy break from the rest of life and the perfect place to rest and relax. The space The Shop is recently renovated but located in a spot that feels like you are living in a slower and more peaceful time. The wood burning stove is a wonderful addition that creates that perfect cozy feel in the living room. The sky lights and windows let in the perfect amount of natural light that makes The Shop feel cheerful and homey The Shop was built in 1980 by Thomas Barry who had recently retired from the Navy and found Valle Crucis the perfect place. He always enjoyed working with his hands and building the shop was the perfect spot to continue that, whether he was building doll houses for his grandkids or working on bigger projects for others, he treasured the space. The Shop has been used for many things over the years, and it is now a newly renovated and cozy get away spot for you! We hope the Shop will be a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the mountains! Guest access The guests have full access to the Shop. No other buildings in the area are for guest access.
