Built in 1930, this nearly 100 year old historic 2 bedroom 1 bathroom brick cottage has been beautifully renovated to include all the modern comforts of home, including central heat and air conditioning and is conveniently located in the small town of Lester, West Virginia. Whether you’re planning a relaxing weekend getaway, or an adventurous vacation full of outdoor excursions, the area has plenty of activities to add to your itinerary. The space Small town comfort with big-city amenities. Explore wooded hiking trails, world-class ATV trails, cascading waterfalls, or enjoy a spa day, shopping or a night on the town! The home is located within a short drive to everything you could possibly need or want to see in southern West Virginia. We want the guest to visualize and appreciate the beauty that lies within the walls of this historic Appalachian getaway. The home has everything a traveling group or family will need to feel completely at home, while still being tucked perfectly away in the heart of Southern West Virginia. The house itself has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen - 1 Full), living room, eat-in kitchen, full bathroom and laundry room. We love our four-legged friends too, and welcome well-behaved pets. For your safety and the protection of our property, we use Ring exterior surveillance to monitor the home 24 hours/day. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and yard. The driveway can accommodate up to 4 vehicles (including utility trailers). Other things to note The interior of the home is NOT 420-friendly. Please be aware we do not allow smoking of any kind inside the home. The lingering evidence of cigarette and/or marijuana use will result in fines. Reservation holder must be at least 25 years of age, and present in the home during the reservation. Booking on behalf of someone else is prohibited. Due to liability purposes and the protection of our home and paying guests, we do not allow unregistered visitors. If guests would like to have additional family members or friends inside the home, please reach out and we will try our best to accommodate. Tampering with the exterior surveillance may result in immediate eviction from the property without refund. We love our fur babies and know what it’s like traveling with them. That’s why we have decided to become pet friendly. We love that you can travel with your babies too, just please be respectful of our home. We have guests that also stay who do not have pets, so please keep the home clean and free from pet deposits. Pets must be house trained, and/or kenneled when left alone in the home. Pet fee is $25 per pet. For families traveling with multiple animals (max 2) or an extended length of stay, we may negotiate a flat fee for your pet(s) that is budget-friendly. Make sure you ask during your booking inquiry for multi-pet or weeklong rates. Please respect the rules below for your fur babies: -Never leave pets unattended to roam freely- pets must be kenneled when left alone if not house trained, and carpeted areas of the home must be closed off to any pets at all times. -Pets must be on leash at all times when outdoors. - Guest agree to clean all deposits (poop) in yard left by pets ($50 fee per pile of poo if guest do not follow this simple requirement). -Pets must not climb on furniture or beds. -There is a penalty fee of $100 on top of the normal pet fee to any guest who tries to sneak any pets in without giving us notice. What to bring -Napkins, garbage bags, coffee filters (some coffee and filters provided). -Bring paper plates and cups if looking for convenience. (Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes) -Bring extra paper products if you will need extra, there is some provided: toilet paper, paper towels. -Bring extra bath towels. One set of towels (wash cloth, hand towel, and bath towel) will be provided for each guest. -Bring laundry detergent.
