Beautiful country estate on 4 acres with fabulous views just off of the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail and 2 miles from downtown Damascus (10 miles to Abingdon). NO CLEANING OR PET FEES! Our largest patio level suite with private bedroom, bath, dining/kitchenette, living room, plus covered patio. Very comfortable queen sleeper in living room for up to 2 additional guests. The space There are two apartments on the patio level of this country home, each with a private bedroom, bath and living area with kitchenette. The Provence Suite is a soothing lavender color and has a wall of glass looking out over the patio to the amazing views! Suites are separated by a large game room with air hockey, ping-pong, exercise bike, piano, electronic darts, and game table (plus games). There is coffee, tea, and a mini-refrigerator plus basic utensils in each kitchenette. Options for warming food (and some cooking) are available in each suite. Guest access Guests have their own private apartments as described plus access to the 4 acre grounds, huge shared patio (each suite has one or more private patios as well), shared laundry, hot tub and fire pit. We have a 14 year old super sweet Golden Retriever mix (Penny) on site, plus whatever other animal(s) guests in the other suite may or may not have. There is a beautiful waterfall with great sounds, looking out to a stunning view of the Virginia countryside. Other things to note Two night minimum for weekends (Fri-Sat) in October.PETS STAY FREE! NO CLEANING FEES! There are steep drop offs from the patio, which make this UNSUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. The home has central heat and ac (which is set by the owners' upstairs thermostat), and the lower patio level is cooler than the owner's level both with and without ac. There are separate electric fireplaces in each suite for ambiance and additional heat in winter. This is a unique property with incredible views, and a great place to relax and get away from city life. The quaint towns of Damascus and Abingdon are two and ten miles away respectively. Our home is literally a quarter mile from the Virginia Creeper bike trail. This property is ABSOLUTELY NON-SMOKING!
