The space Be in the Know to ensure our listing meets your needs: -Westchester County, NYC rules do not apply to our listing, book with confidence. -Private room with smart lock. -Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pod maker inside the room. -Shared bathroom -To/from: JFK;LaGuardia;Newark; 45-1.5+ hours in TAXI. -To NYC: Public transportation; *BeeLine & MTA: 5+ min walk,8+ min bus ride, 45min - 1.5+ hours 1 or 4 train ride (same metrocard) *METRO NORTH: approx 11+min walk to Ludlow Station 50+min train ride to Grand Central. *Taxi: approximately 35min to 1.5+ hrs. -Book if you do not mind commuting like every New Yorker 😀, we are not in front of the Empire State Building, for that you need a Manhattan hotel 😀. -3rd floor of house (3 sets of stairs, about 34 steps total) -For Summer; window ACs, For winter; heat radiators. - Self check-in: we require a check in time in order to activate the smart lock with your unique access code. The Don'ts -No pets -No parties -No kitchen access -No large gatherings -No backyard access. -No more than 2 adults, not suitable for children. -No laundromat (6 min walk nearest one). -Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind (deposit will be held if we smell odor or see other signs of smoking inside the house). -No PARKING: If you have a car, you will need to spend some time looking for street parking and at times you will find parking blocks away from the house.) -No blocking driveways or garages (if you have a car). Guest access - Shared clean bathroom. -2 guest maximum Please note; the bathroom is shared, and as much as we wish to have the cleaning crew there everytime some one uses it, it is impossible. While we do clean it thoroughly regularly, it is up to our guests to do their part to keep it as clean as possible. So, prospective guest, if you are not able to keep a shared bathroom clean after you use it, perhaps you need a private apartment with absolutely no shared areas. During your stay We prefer to give our guests their space. We are always on the go, but we do make ourselves available via the Airbnb app during normal business hours 9am to 5pm. Any other times, we prefer to be reached out only for emergencies. Please be aware that we are human beings, so, we do sleep during the night, please try to not loose your key as we may not be able to help you get in if it's in the middle of the night. *Due to the high amount of spam calls and texts, we only tend to correspondence via the Airbnb's app. Other things to note -The most you will hear are footsteps and sometimes voices in the hallways. Most of our guests keep it quite and we ask our guests to reciprocate. -Lost key will incur a $40 replacement fee and $100 fee to send someone to open the door during normal business hours (9am to 5pm) any other times is $150.00 fee. (please, don't lose your key).
