In 2022, the house was updated with a new bathroom, new foam gel mattresses, flooring, plumbing, smoke and CO2 alarms, AC, and a game cleaning station. The attached garage has a refrig/freezer and a deep fryer for those tasty fish fries. Surrounding Ashly is a sportsmen paradise. McIntosh County is populated with pot hole prairie lakes which provide abundant fishing, migratory water fowl and upland bird hunting. In 2022 & 2023, North Dakota stocked over 607K walleye in McIntosh County. The space Our house is not your typlical ND hunting shack. The house is setup to handle not only sportsmen, but is also setup to handle family gatherings. It is always thoroughly cleaned after each booking and is continually maintained to offer a safe and welcoming environment to all who stay there.
