We call this the Pontoon, but if you want to make waves and catch rays, you'll have to bring yours and tie it up on the dock close by! The Pontoon is a two-bedroom park model. Bring your boards and set up corn-hole in the large yard with seasonal lake views. It is conveniently located next to the pool! As you walk in, you are instantly greeted by the open living area. Complete with a comfy queen-size futon with a WIFI-connected smart TV—an eat-in kitchen with a room stocked with dinnerware, cookware, dish soap, and paper towels. To the Right of the living room, you have the main bedroom with a comfy queen size bed. On the other end of the rental, you will find the bunk room with a queen and a set of twin bunks. The full bathroom just outside the bunk-room has towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. As you step outside on the covered porch, you will find an outdoor dining table, charcoal grill, and fire pit. The Pontoon is centrally located next to the pool, camp store, and boat ramp. ​ Also, know that the lake level fluctuates in the fall, winter, and spring. Please know that we have a motion sensor outdoor security camera that observes the driveway and front door 24/7. The camera doesn’t observe any gathering area or sitting area. It is in place to help keep our team members notified of departures and arrivals and to make sure no one is parked in the driveway blocking your parking spot. Our family-friendly events, delicious food trucks, and Sunday church services create an unforgettable stay. If you want to make your stay even more special, we have golf carts and lake mats available for rent. Furthermore, the campground store is fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, including bagged ice, ice cream, firewood, snacks, and drinks. Other things to note Please remember that you are inside the campground, so you will have neighbors. Douglas Lake is a TVA-controlled lake, meaning lake levels fluctuate from mid-September till late April. Even though lake levels are low during those times, it is a good time to fish off our main dock or in the fishing pond, search the lake bottom for cool objects like crystals and arrowheads, and watch birds from around the lake banks. It is also a good time to check out surrounding areas like Dandridge, Newport, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.
