Nestled in the Northeast Kingdom in the north country of Vermont, half an hour from Newport and twenty minutes from the Canadian border. Sail, boat, canoe, kayak and fish at: Echo Lake, Clyde River, Lake Memphremagog, Lake Salem, Pensioner Pond, Seymour Lake, and Willoughby Lake. Ski Jay Peak, East Burke Mountain, and Stowe. Rock and Ice climb at Willoughby Lake. Fall festivities include: festivals, fairs, and apple picking all over Vermont, Northern New York, and New Hampshire. The space Our home is within walking distance to Echo Lake and close to Lake Seymour Lake Salem, Lake Willoughby, Memphremagog Lake and Pensioner's Pond. We live in a very peaceful area with lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Northeast Kingdom is a very special place. Guest access Guests are free to use the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, downstairs deck, fire pit, and grill. Please note that all of these areas are shared spaces. During your stay I do like to engage with guests, but will defer to them if they prefer to have space. I work Tuesday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m., but am generally available via text between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m.
