Our renovated 1847 home is in the beautiful Village of New Marlborough - 15 min. from Gt. Barrington. Amazing porch w/field view and sunsets. Walk to foot & drink at the renouned Old Inn on the Green & Gedney Farm. The New Marlborough Preserve (paths + river in the woods) 200 yards down the road! The Farm New Marlborough is .5 mi. with local eggs & meats & Friday night dinners outdoors & hayrides. Note: the house is new listing for us, but was rented by the prior owner over the last 5 years! The space Our house is laid out like an old farmhouse. The TV room has an upright piano (need to add pic) and there is ample space to spread out for privacy or enjoy time together in the large living room, dining room or kitchen.With its original wide floorboards, plaster walls and lots of light. And again, THE PORCH!!! Guest access Full house other than storage room. Shed outside also available for your gear. Other things to note My wife and I have lived in the Berkshires since 1990. Raised our kids here. We moved down to New Marlborough from Lenox in November. Every summer we go up to Maine - this is our first time renting this great place, although rented by the prior owner for the past 5 years. Our location is ideal - it's a big part of why we moved here in the first place. The Southfield Store is a little over a mile - great coffee & brunch. Scenic, dirt North Road is "in town" nearby - ideal for strolling/hiking/biking - along with several other reservations. The New Marlborough Preserve, Steepletop, Dry Hill, Questing - all fantastic (look them up!). All this, and Barrington 15-20 minutes (depending on where in town) and Lenox 30 minutes (Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co., The Mount, etc).
