Private Bedroom with Bathroom near Concordia & NYC
One bedroom with comfy full sized bed and dresser with private bathroom in lovely small town of Eastchester. Enjoy privacy with two rooms, your own entrance, small private bathroom and access to shared laundry. 13-minute walk to Tuckahoe train station, then 35 minute ride to Grand Central Terminal in the heart of Manhattan. Iona University is a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk. Short walk to restaurants, deli, pharmacy and shops. Includes use of shared fire-pit, parking space & Wi-Fi. The space The suite has two small rooms - a bedroom with one full size bed, dresser and an end table. The connecting room has a two person café table, loveseat, TV and access to computer and stereo if desired. You can use your Netflix or Amazon Account to watch our Smart TV with Roku & Verizon Fios cable channels. The private bathroom is small but functional and contains a shower, sink and toilet. The rental space has a private entrance on the ground floor. The house is built on a hill so you must go down stairs to access the rental. Guest access Laundry room, Parking Space, Fire-Pit During your stay Interaction is very much up to you. We both work and are in & out of the house most of the day but do live upstairs so we are always available to answer questions. We are friendly and like to learn about our guests and their travels. On the other hand, guests are often busy or tired and desire privacy, which we respect. Other things to note You will need to negotiate steps to get into the house, so, unfortunately, it is not disability friendly. Tuckahoe Metro North Station is the closest, but please be advised it is an uphill walk from the station. There is NO kitchen access.
