Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Twin Cities. The Pink Pad (named after it's historic pink exterior) is a bungalow style home with a vast studio layout and a cozy loft area. The home has room for 6 sleeping spots. We are located near The Minnehaha Falls, The airport and Lake Nakomis, it's the perfect place to stay for quick access to all of the Twin Cities. You'll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated - we can't wait to share our space with you! The space Our bungalow styled home is a large studio with a loft sleeping area and basement. *Please note we do have one of our beds located in a loft. Ladder may be difficult for some guests* There are 2 twin beds located on the main level, easy for guest use. We have a cozy living and dining room area, as well as a work space for those who need it! The handmade black walnut dining room table is a great space to share a meal or play a game with friends and family. The fully stocked kitchen sits right off the dining space with an old school style oven that requires a little finesse to kick on but so fun to use. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you would need for a short term or long term stay - spices, sugar, flour, pots and pans, and appliances. Coffee and tea are always provided :) With the unique layout, the only way to get to the loft is by a ladder, once up there you will feel like you are tucked away in the mountains. We have a full size mattress in the loft and a trundle twin bed with 2 mattresses on the main level, we also have a very comfy futon in the basement for extra guests! Our garden area is one of our favorite spots to relax while enjoying the beautiful Minnesota nights. Guest access The entire home is yours! To access the home you can either park on the back parking pad by the garage or out front on the street. Please use the electric keypad at the front door to enter into the home. Other things to note If you are traveling with kids and/or an infant please let us know ahead of time so we can go over safety guidelines for your little ones! We offer long term stays for our guests, just reach out and we would be happy to accommodate you! House Guidelines: No smoking No parties Please keep pets off all furniture Quiet Hours between 10 PM and 7 AM * Failure to comply will result in a $500 fine and additional damage fees* We do provide the option for an early check in or late check out if it works with our calendar.
