The cottage is just half a block from the OCEAN beach and three blocks from BAYSHORE beach with kayaking and boat rentals. Located in Belmont Shore, near 2nd St with popular shops and restaurants. Located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away from surfing beaches. Local attractions include the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary & Catalina Island. 18 miles away from DTLA as well as other Los Angeles & Orange County attractions. The space My beach cottage is a two story, 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home with a front patio and small side patio off the kitchen. Large Master bedroom has a king size bed, love seat, TV and a brand new washer and dryer in the walk-in master closet. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and twin bed. Bedroom 3 doubles as a family room and has a twin daybed with a trundle bed that pulls out. There is a 55” TV and seating for at least 6. There is a vintage working piano, a treasure chest full of games as well as a dedicated office space. Dining room has table and 6 chairs. The kitchen has all the basics as well as a few bonus appliances, pots, pans, utensils and cutlery. The pantry will include basic items like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil and paper towels. There is a large farmhouse type sink but NO garbage disposal. Living room has seating for at least 6, extra blankets in a storage ottoman, custom bookshelves and a working fireplace upon request. There are extra pillows, linens and blankets. We also have a crib and a high chair available. Guest access There is street parking available in front of the cottage. The front gate is open and your key will be in the lockbox. Street sweeping occurs on Thursday and Friday from 9am-11am. There are street signs that indicate which side you can park on which day. There is also a parking space behind the garage and a gate marked with our address that will allow you to access the home. The garage is not accessible to guests. Other things to note There is one available parking space in the back. There is scheduled street sweeping on my street on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-11am. I will be providing a booklet with maps, restaurant and other shopping information and phone numbers that will be helpful during your stay here.
