The open ceilings and rustic elements are for aesthetics and is a part of the overall design. PLEASE READ: There is no central air conditioning or heat in the home, There are two window units(one in each bedroom) to keep you cool for sleeping. They only keep the bedrooms cool. We do have personal fans in every room also and three space heaters for when it gets cold. This type of living is not for everyone, so please don't book if you need central air or heat. We open the windows and let the wind blow through. This bungalow does get cold during Floridas winter months,please check the weather before you book your stay.
