Pricing for 2025 reflects the ability to have up to 8 guests and the enhancements that will be made. The Boathouse will be getting a major facelift for May 2025. We’ll be remodeling the kitchen with new cabinets/counter tops and all new Bosch appliances that will include an induction cooktop. It will be an open concept kitchen to dining room with a 4 person peninsula. We’ll be creating a larger dining/livingroom area that can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. In addition, we’ll be expanding the width of the deck and adding sliders to the upper main entrance so you can really take in those ocean views while you are in the kitchen/dining rooms. We’ll also be adding a rec area in the 2 car garage that will include a ping pong table, seating area and outdoor television. It will have a little tiki bar complete with wine fridge. The kitchen is currently well equipped with a Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer, Blender and Food Processor. If you prefer fresh ground coffee in the morning…the cottage has Bodum Coffee Grinder. The back deck has a patio set for 8 with a propane grill. The back lawn has Adirondack chairs around the solo stove fire pit so you can take in the ocean views! There is a laundry room in the garage that you have full access to. Also in the garage you’ll find beach chairs, a cooler and some lawn games. The Boathouse upper level features a Master Bedroom with en-suite Bath and Queen bed with spectacular ocean views. The two bedrooms also on the upper level, are to the back of the house and each have a Queen bed. There is a full bath in the hallway adjacent to these two bedrooms. The recently remodeled lower level downstairs features spectacular ocean views, bathroom with stand up shower, sofa, queen size bed, 55 inch TV and a desk. This is part of the boathouse and you can enter from the upper level. There is also an exterior door so you have easy access to the fire pit or beach. We think this newly remodeled room might be one your guests will fight over! This room gives you a sneak peak of what the upstairs will look like when complete. Guest access There are three private homes on the property. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of others in each of the homes. Access to the beach is via the trees on the right hand side of the driveway, with a little ramp that goes down to the water. The beach is shared with the three homes. Our home is at the end of the driveway and while we are happy to share the property, we do ask that you respect our privacy and the property around our home and limit your access to the property you have rented and the path the the beach.The stairs going to the beach are our private stairs/access and the dock is private and are not to be accessed by guests. Other things to note Regarding Cleaning Fee We take a great deal of pride in our cleaning and count ourselves lucky to have the best cleaning fairies in Blue Hill! After each guest we wash the mattress pad cover, pillow case covers, linens including blanket and duvet, as well as bath mats...that is a lot of laundry! Our team is at the house for approximately 7 hours making sure everything is perfect for your arrival. Our cleaning fee is paid entirely to them for their hard work. All bathrooms have Pharmacopia Verbena Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Lotion. We start each guest visit off with a full bag of coffee from Carrabassett Coffee Company, half and half, eggs, yogurt and butter. We also leave condiments in the fridge for our guests.
