The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee. The space Beautiful log cabin nestled in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on a dead end dirt end. Enjoy 1240 sq ft of living space on 4 wooded acres bordering county forestland. The cabin features a large 20'x13' master bedroom with large electric fireplace and patio doors leading to a 500 sq ft deck. The master bedroom has a King sized Sleep Number bed, 2 end tables, a dresser and a chair and ottoman. A separate laundry room with utility sink and closet for coats, boots etc. is located just inside the front door. The main bathroom features a double vanity, plenty of cabinet space, and a jetted tub. Towels and wash cloths are provided. The great room is a true entertainment area with a kitchen tucked in the corner that contains everything you need from utensils to plates to pots and pans along with a 3 stool breakfast bar and a kitchen table for 4 people. The great room also contains a love seat, couch, chair, and ottoman and a 55 inch flat screen TV with streaming services. In the center of the great room is a beautiful stone and knotty pine fireplace and patio doors leading to a 300 sq foot deck that overlooks the forest and a heavily traveled deer trail. Off of the great room is the 2nd bedroom which has 1 Queen bed, a dresser, 2 end tables, and a television with streaming services. A private 3/4 bath (sink, toilet and shower) is adjoined to this smaller bedroom. The home also features a 6'x12' front porch with a covered roof. With an abundance of windows, including huge trapezoid windows in the great room, this cozy cabin allows you many views of the beautiful outdoors. Some of the wildlife that have been viewed on the property includes white tail deer, black bear, turkeys, bobcats, fishers, chipmunks, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, cardinals, blue jays, eagles, black squirrels, and gray squirrels. And, if you are really lucky, you will see a moose! Moose are extremely rare but we did see one near Woodruff, about 20 miles away. Plenty of blankets, throws and pillows are available. *for security reasons, there is a camera located outside facing the driveway. This is camera is also used to verify occupancy. **the cabin is on a one lane dead end dirt road, which is well maintained. The road leading to the cabin is on a hill, and the hill does get slippery in the winter. Please be sure you have good tires. Vehicles with all wheel drive or front wheel drive shouldn't have any issues. If you have questions about this just ask. Guest access Guests can access all components of the home except for 2 sheds on the property. Additionally, there are 4 wooded acres where guests can feel free to explore along with many area town roads great for taking nature walks or bicycling. The wooded lot is surrounded by other wooded lots in all directions and Oneida County Forestland runs along the south edge of the property. Other things to note We are animal lovers and dogs have been a part of our lives for many years. Feel free to bring your canine friends so they can enjoy your vacation with you as well. We do have a 2 dog limit and expect that they will be house trained. Dogs are not allowed to roam free outside on the property without a person with them. We ask that you do your best to prevent them from barking and causing concern for other neighbors. We also ask that you clean up after them and dispose their waste in the forest. There is a shovel outside for this purpose. Dogs must be crated during sleep time and when left home alone. Dogs CANNOT be locked in a bedroom or bathroom while you are gone. MUST be left in a kennel or taken with you. *Please let owner know how many dogs you have, what breeds they are, and age. Owner has the right to decide rentals based on dogs. We do not discriminate against breeds. The dog fee is $15 per night per dog sent as a separate fee after booking. Sorry, no puppies. We are providing a washer and dryer along with detergent and fabric softener. Feel free to use it for your own items so you don't have to go home with a load of dirty clothes. Although not required, we always appreciate it if you are able to do some cleaning up before you leave. Additionally, brooms, vacuum, dishwasher, and various cleaning supplies are available in the home to use if needed throughout your stay. Please do not worry about washing any bedding or making beds. We prefer to take on that responsibility to ensure that each guest experiences a clean bed. *for safety and security purposes the home has a camera outside that faces the driveway. Occupancy will also be confirmed using this camera.
