I recently had it tested and it is passed with flying colors. • Guests need 4-wheel drive for winter months. • Boat rentals and white rafting referrals available upon request. • Water conservation practices are encouraged. Recommend not running the wash, dishwasher and shower all at once. Sometimes the well needs a couple minutes to catch up. The water heater is new! • There are several kinds of life preservers and flotation devices available for use. The DNR enforces so for those folks who decline to use one of the life preservers (found in the coat closet,) there is also a cushion provided. All boats must have a flotation device on board. I got you covered :) There is a kayak and a canoe. Please put the cover back on the kayak after use. • Florence County is home to over 160 miles of ATV trails and routes with hundreds more connecting neighboring counties and the State of Michigan. The northern part of the Nicolet State Trail runs through the western portion of the county. This particular trail also runs through Forest and Oconto Counties. The Florence County ATV trail system winds through the open Spread Eagle Barrens State Natural Area and county, industrial and national forests. Riders will encounter trails leading to 3 waterfalls (Breakwater, LaSalle & Washburn), several scenic overlooks, county parks and 3 ATV/UTV friendly campgrounds: Lake Emily, West Bass Lake and Morgan Lake campgrounds. Florence County also has a 17 acre ATV park which is located on the south side of Fisher Lake in the Town of Florence. • It takes more than a weekend to explore all that Florence County has to offer. There are 200,000 acres of public land to plan outdoor adventures. Ride our trails on your ATV/UTV or snowmobile to burn off some stress. Rejuvenate Up North by hiking, biking, cross country skiing or snowshoeing our trails or blaze your own trail through the woods. • Paddle undeveloped rivers to reconnect with nature.
