Welcome "At Two Chestnuts", a house located in the heart of the Cable Gorge. This quiet and cozy house is located on a beautiful peninsula in the middle of Lake Medjuvrsje, located between picturesque mountain slopes. The house has direct private access to the shore of the lake, which offers a nice place for fishing, barbecue, or simply for relaxation. The house is located in a quiet location, as it is not close to the main highway, but still well connected to all major places in the area. The space In 5 minutes by car, there is a "Ovčar Banja ", a natural reservoir with thermal pools and wellness facilities. In the other direction, a 10-minute drive will take you to the town of Cacak with lots of shopping and cultural options."At two chestnuts" there are 4 rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace ,two porches. The house can accommodate up to 10 people if two people sleep on floor beds/ sofa bed. (There are 3 double beds for two people each, 2 single beds , one sofa bed that folds out into a floor mattress for sleeping , as well as one inflatable floor mattress) .The house is ideal for couples, families with children or small groups of travelers. The house offers a beautiful view of the lake from every room. In front of and behind the house is a huge garden. In front of the main terrace there are both the front and back porch where chairs and tables for dinner or drinks can also be installed. Guest access The house is located in the middle of the peninsula on Lake Medjuvrsje. When driving from Cacak in the direction of "Ovčar Banje", after the dam in Myirly, you should turn right on the curve of the highway called "Pace's Corner" and drive uphill on the peninsula. There is only one peninsula on Lake Medjuvrsje, so we hope you won't miss this uphill path. When you are on this road on the peninsula, you will pass the wooden sign "Lightning Juice" sign, and just continue and continue straight along the road, until you see a red picket fence with a wooden door and a large tile roof at the entrance. There, you'll also see a wooden sign that reads "Two Chestnuts" hanging from the entrance. It's also the location of the house. "In two chestnuts, it can accommodate up to 8 people and is ideal for a couple, families with children with children or small groups of travelers and families. The house is located directly by the lake and offers a beautiful view from every room. In front of and behind the house is a huge garden, one main large terrace, as well as a front and back veranda where chairs and tables can also be installed for dinner or drinks. Room 1: The loft room has a separate entrance with stairs from the front porch, two windows (one of them overlooking the lake), and a large double bed for two people. This room also has two closets and a desk with benches . Room 2: Room on the middle floor with terrace: This is the largest room in the house. It has a large double bed for two , a desk with a workspace, and a rocking chair. This room also leads to a large terrace with beautiful lake views and a large table. Room 3: Second Room on the middle floor: It has two single bunk beds as well as a desk with a lovely view of the lake in front of it. Room 4: Ground Floor Room: This is the ground floor room next to the kitchen. It has one bedroom sofa bed that is suitable for one or two people. This room also has all the basten chairs and hammocks that can be used for a backyard with lake views. Kitchen: Dining table, workspace, double fridge, induction kitchen countertop. Toilet: There's a sink, bidet, shower, and a small bathtub and a washer. Parking space: There is a parking space for one car in front of the main door. Additionally, one or two more cars can be parked in the front of the garden behind the gate. Key instructions: The keys to the main entrance will be placed in a black box with a code. This key safe is located within the main door on the right. The combination to open will be emailed to you. After you open the main door, you'll find all the other keys to the house hanging in the jawbone for the dressing room on the left wall in the first entrance hall. At the end of your stay, please return the master key to the lockbox and the other keys to the closet on the hallway wall where they were. Thanks! Garbage disposal: There is one plastic trash can in the toilet, and there is another larger dog trash can in the kitchen under the sink. Additional plastic garbage bags are also located in the kitchen under the sink. Please dispose of full garbage bags in the main trash can located on the main road on the curve itself at the beginning of the peninsula. When leaving your trip on the peninsula, the garbage can is directly there on the right. Thank you! Other things to note An additional possible offer for guests is also the optional use of a double kayak for an additional cost of €5 per day. Cultural and sports activities in the area: Art and culture: The house is located in the middle of the "Shepherd-Cablar" gorge, which is also located near the main Balkan festivals of ethno music, which are regularly held every year. Guca, the world-famous Balkan brass festival and trumpet competition, Pranjani, the Balkan Violin Festival, and the violinist virtuoso competition are 30km away. The press, the Balkan Frule Festival, and the Serbian Frule Fruit Folk Players are 30km away. Cacak is the first city nearby and offers plenty of cultural content,theater ,cinemas, as well as many festivals and concerts. Monasteries: "Ovčarsko-Kablarska " gorge is known in Serbia for 13 medieval monasteries under UNESCO protection, hidden in a gorge within 10 km of the house. All nearby manstires are interwoven with goddess history and unique frescoes over 800 years old. Sports activities: The slopes of Mount Shepherd and Kablar offer many scenic mountain trails for relaxing hikes or advanced trails for people interested in mountain sports like biking, climbing, or kayaking. Glass Lookout on Kablar: It is currently under construction until April 2024, and will be represented by juskoro edan on the most beautiful views in Serbia and the surrounding area. Shepherd Banja is a wellness center with indoor and outdoor thermal pools open year-round.
