Tiny Home. Living Large. Downtown. Rental car. W/D
I watched way too many shows of Tiny Luxury Homes and set out to create my own! Here you will find custom built in cabinetry, new flooring, exposed wooden beams, built in full size bed, a sparkling fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, gas stove and washer and dryer. My tiny space is not a stand alone building. It’s a converted apartment with the idea of turning dreary into stunning. Water views and two minutes to the bus stop. Walking distance to town. Smart car rental available. The space I wanted to create an efficient 'just right' space with a place for everything. If living large in a small space intrigues you I expect you will enjoy yourself here. All new remodel just completed and offering you a comfortable stay in an open plan apartment. Enjoy a brand new kitchen fully equipped as well as a Keurig coffee maker, full size fridge and a propane stove. Front load washer and dryer. Brand new Beautyrest full size mattress. Comfortable pad to call your own a short walk to downtown. Kick back on the built in sofa in front of the real life flames of the electric fireplace and enjoy high speed internet, cable TV or a great book. Watch the activity along the waterfront from the kitchen bar counter. I have a car available to rent with my home and she’s a perfect small addition to living large, a Smart Fortwo. Guests receive a 15% discount rate for stays under 30 days. Over 30 days the rate reduces to $35/day. It’s rented through the Turo app and I will adjust the price from $89/day. Please request rate change before you book on Turo. I can’t do it retroactively. The house was built in the 1920's and is listed on the Historic Register. Back then the road was a simple boardwalk trail and stores in towns provided delivery with young men packing goods to the houses by wheelbarrow. Today the street is paved and fairly narrow. There are a few stairs to climb but the views are worth it. Guest access This is a private unit with private key pad entryway. Other things to note Parking is on the street. The street is a dead end and requires you be comfortable reversing a short way to the turn around. There is no assigned parking so you may have to walk a couple of car lengths from the house to your parking spot. The house is right at the end of the street accessed by a traditional boardwalk. There are 12 steps to get onto the boardwalk. In keeping with tiny spaces I have a Smart Fortwo car that can be rented for your stay. Not only can you park it in tiny places it’s a breeze to navigate the narrow residential roads that used to be boardwalks. The house is not a stand alone home. It’s an apartment that has been lovingly restored to function as a tiny living space.
