Welcome to our "barndo" at WoodHaven! -We renovated part of our storage barn into a cozy guest suite that will ensure a relaxing getaway. Over the years, we've loved hosting people in our home and wanted to extend that hospitality to you! -Barndo sits on 22 acres with a relaxing landscape of green fields along with wooded areas. A stream and creek both run along and through the property. -Approx. 5 miles off I-65 and 45 minutes south of Nashville, 1 hour north of Huntsville, AL. The space -Approx. 750 sq ft of living space, including a King-size bed w/deluxe memory foam mattress. Main room includes the King bed, sofa, dining area and full kitchen. The sofa makes into a futon-bed that would be most suitable for a small child. A full bathroom and laundry is just off the main room. -High speed internet, smart TV and basic cable through Spectrum. -Fully stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, Keurig, French press, pour over, coffee grinder and tea kettle. There is a starter supply of teas and coffee. -Fire-pit with Adirondack chairs, a covered porch with table/chairs along with a gas grill. Guest access The barndo's gravel driveway splits off from the main paved driveway. The wooded areas, creek and stream on the brand's side of property can be explored but we ask that you not cross over to the other side of the creek since that is private property owned by someone else. Feel free to use the fire pit area but the bridge crossing over the stream divides where our personal house is from guests so we ask that you stay on "barndo" side of the bridge. Please keep cars parked on gravel drive. During extra rainy seasons, the ground may become soft and we are not responsible for stuck cars that drive in grass. Other things to note -You will need to provide Airbnb with your government ID before booking your stay, for your protection as well as ours. -Children are welcome, but please be aware that our place may not be suitable for young children. -The barndo sleeps 2 adults, along with capacity for a child. The futon couch would be best suited for a small child, not adult. We reserve the right to limit the amount of people. -You must be 21 yrs of age or older to book this property. -We do not allow any events or parties. -No Bachelor/Bachelorette parties. -Cell service is very spotty, but we have excellent WI-FI. -Bugs are not associated with cleanliness issues and occasionally come in from the outside. Particularly during the fall, there will be stink bugs and lady bugs that come with TN living! They are harmless and are just trying to get inside for the winter. We do routine pest control. As long as you keep all the doors and windows shut, it will be more difficult for them to get inside. We are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for an occasional bug in the house. #country living -This building also serves as our personal storage barn, so from time to time we may need to get equipment or tools. We do our best to inform you ahead of time if we need to enter main barn and will do our best to not disturb you. -We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, but will do our best to reunite forgotten items with our guests. -We want you to enjoy every minute of your stay and hope you feel the love that we have poured into this place.
